Have your say in Amberley's future!
Amberley is growing quickly. One of the exciting outcomes is many new families are arriving and choosing this great community as their home. And along with this growth we, just like every other community in New Zealand are also facing social, economic and environmental pressures which are asking us to look more closely at how we live.
Plus it’s been a decade since the future of Amberley was in the spotlight collectively, so more than enough time has passed. It's time to have a community conversation, and we've called it Amberley Absolutely!
Our goal is to establish a vision, along with projects, for us to work towards together.
How to get involved
We want to hear from you, our Amberley and surrounds residents, as well as anyone in the Hurunui District who sees Amberley as their community of interest. Without you, this project won’t get legs and grow, so we need you to take action.
We want to know your thoughts, ideas and dreams for Amberley.
Click the green button above and leave your comments under each of the five themes we have developed:
Spaces & Places, Moving About, Connecting, Support Systems and Growing Potential.
You can provide comments as many times as you like before 5pm Friday 14 October 2022
Keep scrolling to find out more information about this exciting project as well as dates for upcoming community meetings.
